hey everyone! i hope you are all doing well.
today i wanted to share some of my favorite playlists that like to i write to. i always write with music when i can because it really helps me get in the zone really focus.
all of these are instrumental, though i do sometimes write to songs with lyrics. which do you prefer?
i also wanted to let you guys know, i might have move my posting day (again, agh) because i just got a job and saturdays will be really busy for me. but, we shall see the future haha.
anyway, on that note, let's get into the list... of playlists ;).
1. a soft bts lofi & piano playlist in the rain.
this 2 hour long playlist is so calming to write (or study) to! i recently have been getting into bts, so i've really been enjoying this. i also just love the sound of rain in the background. is that just me???
2. 1 A.M Study Session 📚 - [lofi hip hop/chill beats].
this hour long playlist is perfect if you want to feel like you are in a coffee shop! i listen to this while doing school a lot actually, as well as when i do blog posts! i love a lot of lofi girl's playlists so check them out if you enjoyed this one ;)
3. Saying your last goodbye to your comfort character | playlist + rain |.
okay i lied--this playlist does have some songs with lyrics, but it's more slowed and reverb so it isn't distracting to me, lol. i tend to listen to the first 20-25 minutes though because it is more instrumentals haha. this playlist is amazing for writing sad or bittersweet scenes.
4. emotional music for writing sad scenes (instrumental playlist).
abbie emmons playlist for sad scenes is PERFECT for a good writing mood. i've listened to this countless times and it is so inspiring and really helps set a dramatic vibe. it's an hour long and i have really enjoyed the songs on this playlist.
5. the interstellar soundtrack.
the music in this soundtrack is super inspiring to me (especially for sci-fi and dystopian). if you like soundtrack music, check these songs out. i always feel motivated to write a suspenseful story with this playing in the background.

well, i did have a 6th... but it appears it is no longer on youtube so *sadness* i guess that brings today's post to an end.
